Hello all, I am currently trying to recruit members for this website. It's a community site a bit like MySpace but focused on goth/alt music. It has a cool integrated music player with some really good bands, and is very good for promoting clubs/bands etc and finding people to chat to in your area! Click on the linky below to join, and come and say hello on my profile!

Goth goes radio in Oxford! Mar. 21st, 2006 @ 08:22 pm
Any one read the news today? I spotted it in The Independent, a report has been released by German born Dr. Dunja Brill about the sub-culture, and it has the media on a bit of a buzz. Go see at The Independent online.

So how does this relate to radio? BBC Radio Oxford somehow got hold of my phone number (must be a site promoting Intrusion) and called me to ask me to go on tomorrows breakfast show to talk about Goth! The discussion seems to be focused around the report, detailing how teens who seemingly "rebel" and become interested in goth are more likely to become middle-class academics and professional employees later in life.

Should be interesting. Kaylee from Tiger Lily will also be appearing on the show to give her view.

So if you're in Oxford, and awake at 7.15am, tune in - 95.2FM BBC Radio Oxford Breakfast Show.

» Next Intrusion

Next Intrusion is nearly here, and I'm on a hyper because I'm gonna DJ! Probably only at the beggining of the night, but hey, that means I'm not gonna stress. If I make a mistake then only a few are gonna laugh at me and I can blame it on the equipment, it being the beggining of the night and all;

"Yeah, just....er...working out some glitches in the equipment...ya'know, damn club decks an' all......" *fumble* *curse* :)

Anyhow, who's comming? Who's gonna wear some hilarious Santa costume and who's gonna get the most drunk?.....answers on the back of a postcard....or you could just post it here.

Tuesday 13th December
House DJs: Bookhouse Boy & Doktor Joy
Guest DJs: Garybaldi & Sexy Sophia

» Slashgoth has disappeared!
Like, dudes! [sfx: me applying for a job on Saturday Night Live with my new accent] When did that happen?
» Website is Live!!!
Hooray! In the last few hours Intrusion's official website has gone live. After many late night arguements with our ISP's tech support, someone who finally knows what they are talking about has managed to fix the issues with our hosting services.

The site is still being finished, so you will find some pages are incomplete, but the important stuff is all there. And I think it looks great (even if I do say so myself ;) thanks to tenacious_t. We will be updating the site regularly, so make sure you check it out. I'll post notices here if there's something new.

You can find the site here (www.clubintrusion.co.uk).

See you all tonight!
